-Corrections & Elaborations-
7:40 - Most games run at 60 frames per second in NTSC regions (like America and Japan), but most games run at 50 frames per second in PAL regions (like Europe and Australia). I say "most games run at 60fps" because NTSC regions are usually faster for retro games due to the higher frame rate, so NTSC is much more common than PAL in speedrunning. Some games run at half, or a third of 50/60 fps.
17:10 - I talked about the Co-op Diploma Pokemon Red/Blue TAS using Lua scripts. This was inaccurate as that TAS actually used a custom emulator, not Lua scripts. But it's a similar concept.
21:40 – I talked about the Metroid Prime Desync. I was more vague than I would have liked. The desync was actually caused by the emulator. If you’re interested, there’s a thread talking about it here: http://tasvideos.org/5200S.html
25:35 – The “Mega Man, Sonic Advance and Ikaruga” TAS block was at SGDQ 2015.
26:00 – I misworded the focus shift towards ACE. I didn’t mean to imply that one or the other was non-interesting, but that they are both interesting in different ways.
